Chrome finished would be cool, another thing that might be cool is have lke a glossy paint to match the color of your car too.

well im not really sure, but the chrome idea is cool, and think it would look really awesome if you had a silver car or a black car fo sho, but what if like Since i have a blue lancer - If i could get the pipes ( well in general ) in like a hi-gloss blue paint instead of a chrome.

I am not sure how that would look but thats what im feelin, not just for theSDS kit but all FI pipes/kits in general.

Actually I wanted to go with a turbo. But I got an Auto and want to get an Auto to Manual conversion next year; so, I'll go with that ripp supercharger - because it's for both!!!!

The only thing I'd like to know - is that feeling with a supercharger as good as he describes his turbo -- https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=79916

wait - what were u asking...i dont think i was reading that right?

Anywho, i believe ya u would still redline at the normal redline, i couldnt see them raising that limit, becaues if u take away the rev limiter well it isnt great for your car, its there for a reason.

I could see them potentially upping the redline - only RIPP or BlazenOZ would know for now. But remember that RRM's reflash (discontinued) was pretty successful with raising the redline to almost 7000 and it continued to make power safely. As I recall, they even said it was probably safe beyond that, but they held back just to be sure. From the sound of RIPP's gray/black box, I'd bet they have the ability to change the redline and given the right fuel mixtures and timings, I'm sure they can do it safely too.

Ya, i bet any computer/piggy back could do it and do it safely, but im jut not real fond of the whole raising the rev's up real high. One of my friends took of the rev limiter on his volvo or something like that, to make it rev a couple grand higher than the redline and within a couple weeks it was blown engine. Altohugh, he probably did not configure the computer to add more fuel and stuff to keep it safe, so that was prob. the reason.

If they could safely do it, that would be awesome, im just not sure how high i would want it to go, i say 7K RPM is a good area to keep it.

Anyone know what the evo redlines at?
