does it have a resonator? i am not familiar with that exhaust. i know the cat back does and that helps with sound. also all those hicks will atleast respect the magnaflow hahaha.

either way best of luck and cant wait to see ya start boosting.!!!!!

Tenkawa you go the up-pipe route for turbo you keep your first cat, its in the manifold. And with a turbo your car will be quiet anyway, unless you have an open wastegate (external).

No resonator on the Buschur cat-back and it will be loud most likely. I'd recommend either adding a resonator or getting a custom exhaust w/ resonator. A high flow or test pipe will drastically change your exhaust note as well, so you may want to use the resonator to dampen it.

The issue of "backpressure" isn't an issue at the valves or in the manifold on a turbocharged car, it's an issue at the turbine. The less resistance the turbine wheel meets from slower exiting exhaust gasses, the more freely it spins. Personally I'm in full favor of the 2.5" turbo-back. I love(d) it on my car.

yup, i actually recommend getting a 2.5" downpipe, 2.5" hi-flow cat, and 2.5" catback, hehe, hence, turbo back, yea, it WONT be loud, and it WILL sound sweet, i love it

The high flow will certainly be much quieter than a test pipe, and the muffler will change your volume/note significantly as well. And remember you can always add a resonator if you're not pleased.

The Buschur downpipe would not work with a turbo. The exhaust exits the side of the turbine housing and from there goes to the downpipe, cat etc. Their downpipe is meant to attach to the stock manifold.

You will need to have a downpipe fabricated if you are going custom. If you are using the RRM kit, the downpipe is included.

My mistake then...how the hell do you fit it to the turbo if exhaust comes out on the side?

Does it not attach to the manifold on one end and the cat on the other?

well you have the uppipe with the wastegate on the side that connects from ur exhaust manifold to the turbo, then you have the downpipe which connects directly to your midesction pipe (which most people call the downpipe)

Yeah....the up pipe feeds from the manifold and into the turbine, turbine expells exhaust into the downpipe, then to the cat, cat-back and muffler and finally out the exhaust.

But the downpipe should be connecting on the SIDE of the turbine...which means if you can't use the stock downpipe, you can't use the Buschur one either.

yea the RRM kit hooks back up to the stock down pipe so if the BR still has the flexible section in it then it should work with an RRM turbo kit.
