2013 lancer GT turboing

I have pretty much everything I need for a turbo system, besides a manifold, and a fuel timing controller? I contacted RRM and they said I will need one, and for the controller alone its 1,500$. So my question is, is there a way around that controller????? And also what turbo manifold fits nicely on the 2.4l? Cause I cannot find one for the 4b12 motor. Help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

You don't need that timing controller. You flash your ecu with evo x rom.

if doing open source you download ecuflash and upload the definition and file and then flash it to the ecu. It is very straight forward.

Ok thanks! But where can I download it all from and how do you upload it to your ecu? Assuming I need a special driver to plug into my ecu? I've done a lot of mods but I never messed with ecu stuff before so its all kinda new to me.

Hi all,
Apologise for piggy back your topic cw2013.
I am new in this forum, I have a 2014 4B12 GTS/VRX tha'st what it called in here in Aussie.
I also had a thinking turboing mine. After a bit of research, I prefer putting in Ralliart Turbo, but I am not sure if the engine is ready without any internal strengthening.
Does anyone know and can share thought with me
Thanks

It depends on how much boost you want a go. Usually with stock internals, you can go up to 10 psi with a good tune.

Thanks Seb.
If that the case I might go with stock internals then.
BTW I like your LANCER project it's really inspiring and impressing me.
For now got to do a bit research where and how I could get those parts, calculate the cost and labour etc. Really challenging but I admitted not simple as I thought

Thank you!

I found all my parts on ebay and on forums. It's a fun and cool project but I would not pay for the labor because some of these parts need to be fitted. It's not like a bolt on kit...

Good luck anyway!

Hi Seb
you mentioned some of the parts need to be fitted. Does that mean only can be done by mechanic.
If so what are they. Thanks

I mean, since they have to be fitted, it will take more time to build the setup. So if a shop do the job, it will cost more at the end of the project. But, if you take everything from a Ralliart, it's almost bolt on.
