Maintance with super vs turbo?

I was just wondering what the maintance differances were with the SC vs the TC. Everyone seems to say that the turbo has much more. Then i also heard that the maintance with the turbo is its cooling down and heating up times. Is this all bull**** or is there some real truth here?

Thsnks guy

No one knows what they are talking about? I highly doubt that. Heres my input, maintance is always higher/more with a car that came from the factory NA and now has forced induction. Theres is much truth to the warmup-cool down periods on turbo cars. Especially important is the cool down, so the oil doesnt "coke."

If your the kind of person that doesnt look under your hood until a warning light comes on, forced induction on your car is not recommended.....

lol i like what he said
for real matinence is matinence
personaly i dont think its bad at all
turbo timers are good for cool down so that takes care of itself and you shoudl just always warm your car up anyway

some super chargers have there own oil supply (no lines) if thats the case thats gonna need to be changed, reather have a turbo were i change the oil for the turbo when the oil for the car gets changed

Turbo or Supercharged Maintainence

This is the truth of the matter

Tristar Racing..........No one knows what they are talking about? I highly doubt that. On my supercharged Lancer I weekly underbonnet check and change the oil every 5000kms. Adjust supercharger drive belt once every blue moon and check airfilter at time of oil change.

Warmup is important and cool down after hard running
