i need to get the pan off so i can get it to a machine shop to get it tapped and welded so i dont see just flushing it with oil being an option.

I wouldn't trust just flushing it, you still run the risk of metal shavings in your motor.

your ognn have a machine shop do it? its really not that hard to do
when your tapping it you only go in like a little bit wiht the tap cause its tapered that prolly why everyones lines are leaking (going in to far with the 3/8 NPT tap)
and just flushing the pan with oil IS NOT an option you will not get every single burr out of the pan
and there is a spot were a flat head screw driver fits in between the pan and the block in the front by the tranny

i dont thnk i can tap it myslef i since i didnt quite follow what you even said. the shop probably wont charge me much at all anyway.

the space you are talking about taht can fit a flatehead in, is that a space that would allow the screwdriver wedge in vertically instead of horizontally?

What about going into the valve cover? less chance of leakage and road debris hitting it

not a good idea imo. the line doesnt have pressure in it so it uses gravity to return the oil to the pan. if i connect it to the valve cover then the oil would be able to flow.

Theres definately pressure in it, How do you think it gets to the turbo. I saw them run it there on HP TV. I think thats the route I'm going.

Not to sound like a di**, but if theres pressure going in it has to come out with pressure. It doesn't dribble out.

there isnt a large amount of pressure going out, thats why it isnt a steel braided line.

its at teh shop right now bc i broke a bolt off in the oil pan. they couldnt get it of either so instead of taking the oil pan off they jsut drilled into the oil pan and put a gasket on it to keep teh oil from leaking. its out in he parking lot right now and all i need to do is wire the fan, fill it with oil, and reattach teh exhaust. im hoping no problems come up.
