Attn: Turbo Lancer Guys

I need a little help. What exactly on the oil pan needs tapped? Is it the little black tray thing or the the large tray the covers the whole of the block? Also what does the rubber hose that is hanging of the turbo go to?

Im sure that you can tap into either the pan or the block me personally I tapped into the block about 1 " higher than the pan if you take a look at my reg, i have a pic of the tap we also put some JB weld around the outside of the tap to further secure the area around it just so that it does not leak, and the rubber hose off the turbo where is it connected to.. wastegate?? internal or external?? but most likely its connected to the wastegate so that you can hook up a boost controller to it. Hopefully that rubber hose isnt used for the oil line if so replace it immediatly

i tapped the large grey pan.. if you look at the pictures.. you can tell where the black support thing is and then you can see where they tapped it.. so just follow the black support on the picture it will lead you to the large grey pan.. and you will see a long 5 inch bolt or so.. then there will be another 1 inch one.. and you do it to the right of that.. look carfully at the picture and you can actually tell where you need to tap it..(i got confused and had to call RRM like 3 times to get it straight).. haha

ok thanks guys i can see wehre it needs tapped now. also figured out taht the hose is the return line. kond of confusing bc its says coolant on it and was expecting a steel braided line. i did a search on it and a lot of guys said that theres was leaking so that makes me pretty nervous.

your turbo must have both oil/coolant lines connected that is actually better If it is a coolant line it should work fine for the setup just make sure that it is snug to the outlet and also use 2 hose clamps if you have to.

Where do we get the oil feed from? You actually drilled into the block, not the oil pan (for the return)? My SDS should be here in about 2 weeks and I'm trying to get all the info I can.

Looks like the best way, If I were to go into the oil pan itself it would be pointing down and be waiting to get ripped out. Thankyou.

oil pan comes off pretty easy. take out the 1,000,000 bolts that hold it in and carefully pry it off. mine stuck pretty good but finally came off (make sure to empty all your oil prior to doint this though).

mine doesnt come off that easy. ive even tried using a scraper and i cant get it wedged in even. i think it may be bc my car only has 3600 miles on it, so the sealant hasnt had much time to break down as much, but what do i know.

mine never leaked oil from the return line. i watched horsepower t.v. where the put a supercharger on a mustang and the didn't take off the oil pan they just poured some oil in to get out any shavings the would by easy. Why wouldn't that work?make sure to have the fan spinning the right way.
