RRM turbo guys ...

Hey guys.. i just recently got a RRM Intercooled turbo kit for my lancer... my big question is .. i will be using the stock ECU when we install it.. will that be okai?? did u guys use the stock ECU when you guys installed it and did it run efficently? A fellow lancer owner NICK (Nitrohead) made a thread and ran into some problems.. i for one dont want to deal with that..the same people that installed his kit will be installing mine..i know they know what they are doing due ill be there 3rd or 4th lancer they will be working with using this kit...nick was the only one with the problem and i want to make the install as smooth as possible... please any feedback will be great.. i will eventually call RRM and get input from them, but i believe your guys input is just as important..
thankx }

The original RRM turbos were run on stock ECUs, then he designed the maps for the ECUs to improve on its performance, so you should be fine. It may have something to do with how much boost you can use.

i am running an intercooled kit on stock ecu, runs great. All you need to run that kit is in the kit you buy so you are good to go.
