Rrm Kit Install With Problems????

I got my kit installed by a guy that has installed a RRM kit before. The problem is when not in gear "5speed" I can rev it all the way up and it sounds fine. Then when driving somthing doesnt let me pass 4,000 RPMs. And if i hit the gas it almust chokes out. Very bad throttle response. Any one have any Ideas. We have called roadrace and check it over many time. Drivin about 100miles because we all thought it could be the ECU. Let me know if you could think of anything. I really wanna run this thing.
By the way.
Its intercooled.
and i think its slower then before!!!!
AHHHHH!@!!!!!
HELP ME THANKS!!!
Nick

sounds like you def forgot to connect something, my only guess if nothign visually was forgotten , you screwed up something when you took everything off, like maybe the MAS, , make sure all connections are pluggeds in the way they should be, mainly sensors

also check your vacuum lines, make sure they are all properly in order

does it choke out when you hit boost at that rpm? might be that you hooked up your vortech fmu up backwards

I'm betting it's fuel delivery. Stop driving. Take the time to reset the ECU, unplug and replug every wire and hose you've connected. Check and retighten to spec any and all piping and your manifold. You may have an exhaust leak, but you'd probably hear that (it's loud). I'm betting it's fuel related. Don't take the chance of destroying your motor. Think of it like a math test. Go back and check all your work from the beginning.

Def sounds like fuel. Pull out your plugs and check to see if they are black(rich) or white(lean). If your rich the only thing you can do is foul the plugs and clog your cat. If its lean DON'T DRIVE IT!

First off.. question is.. What is your vac reading in hg.. should be around 19-21 secondly do you have an a/f gauge...The problem that I was having with mine was that every time i would go into boost the fuel would cut and you can tell it was going lean because the car would sorta start to shake. If its giving you the same problem then your ecu is causing to cut your fuel out the only way that I was able to correct this was through the SAFC... Also do you have a FPR.. if so what is the pressure its running at. But most likely its the same problem that I had but the thing that im not understanding is why would it happen if its an rrm kit.. didnt think that you needed the fuel correction at all on their kit except for the pump/fpr and let the ecu controll the fuel. You may end up having to buy an AFC.

lmao but it actually sounds like once the turbo should be engaged all the way the car dies out. kinda funny but (knowing its not really possible) your turbo might be in backwards lmao. when it spools it pushes air into the exhaust lmao sry i am tired and htis just came to me.

on a serious note my *****, i mean car, works fine and your oil lines are probably not allowing the turbo to spool properly check them and you should be set.
