We need crank and ECU

im sure all the people serious about the lancer engines have noticed that you cant buy a performance crankshaft or a aftermarket ECU for the lancer. Not counting the RRM piggyback. That might work but a full ECU replacement would benefit us much better, such as a Turbo XS UTEC. Does anyone know of any place to find a performance crankshaft or ECU, or any companies that would make a one custom for us, or any alternatives, something.
I am asking because I am currently building my internals to put a cutom turbo on the ol' lancer. And as long as I am going to be tearing the block apart I am giong to bore it and upgrade everything.
thanks
any info would help

are you boosting your oz? even then the rod would break before your crankshaft..

your rods will go before you crank

cranks are hard to manufacture and in such small numbers it makes no profit

i doubt you will ever see a crank for our car. AEM EMS is a full stand alone that works on the lancer so it is available and so is the halman that RPW recommends.

Yeah, there's a couple of us out there running the AEM EMS. I think there's only one really RUNNING it, but only because the other two cars aren't running. Mine's been down for months, but I'll be rebuilding when I'm done with finals. The other one I'm not really sure I'm at liberty to talk about.

Yeah, IMO, I dont think there is any need for anything inbetween the RRM ECU and the EMS. If you want something that is plug and play the RRM seems to be great, and you should be able to run the GReddy E-manage for any extra tunning that you need. While the EMS gives you anything you need, so what else would you need. As for an aftermarket crank, why? I have never heard of anyone damaging the crank on here, if you think you need more have it knife edged and there are companies that can nitrate it to make it harder.

Honestly the Greddy e-manage would work more than fine. Crank wise you would have to be producing some very high boost before breaking it the same crank is used in the 4G93T engines and we have built those for some Jamaican customers who are running them in the AWD lancers pushing 10's times with wheel spin in all four gears with NOS and they havn't broken a crankshaft yet.

If it is both a street car and race car then go greddy. If not then go full aftermarket - Haltech is a good option as well.

Well if you read what forum you're in, you would notice that it is ES,LS,OZ tech, not RA. No the EMS will not work with the 4G69, it's for the 4G94.
