Talking East Coast Rrm Turbo Lancer

YES!!! finaly came, finaly installed, and finaly unleashed

the RRM turbo is SICK!
Kit was great came with everything needed
IT was everything i hoped for and then some. acualy i should say and then a whole lot more

i got the kit in a few boxes, pulled all the parts out and was like
then i was like ah who cares. before i knew, it parts were jumpin off the bench into the car, things were goin together SOOOO smoothly!

kit contained EVERYTHING needed.

no melted wires or anything!
it wasnt like cheep and cheesy, and they didnt send you just enough hose to cut the job. there was more then enough hoses. they were all nice and long, so you could cut them to the size you need, and not the size the profesional installer needs.

its was sooo easy and the results were definetly rewarding.

nothing really needs to be tuned sept for the BOV witch was like one screw that you can turn with your finger.

no fitment problems. everything fit nicely, all pipes and stuff had leighway, (sp?) and had room for everything
i though on a dificulty level from 1 - 10 it was gonna be like a 100 but you know seriously, i cant stress how incredibly EASY it was to install roadrace alread did the hard part for you basicly
you just gotta put it together like a big lego set.

i myself for tools all i needed was:

10 through 20 mm open ended wrenches
10 through 20 mm sockets and a drive extension
power screwdriver / cordless drill

if your a guy and you drive a car you most definetly should have at least that layin around.

some other things you need are:

a universail join for the wratchet 6 dollars
a longer drive extension like 10 dollars at most
silicone sealer for the oilpan thats like between 3 - 8 dollars a tube witch is enough to do about 10 of them

pretty much it

some other tools id recomend getting (although i personaly did not have them) and rob will advise you to get them to:

CROWS FEET those damn crows feet the install was easy as sh*t, but would have been even easier if i went out and bough the three or four i needed i think it was a 13mm, 14mm, and a 19mm
and they are like 5 dollars each.
but being as thrifty as i lol i didnt use them.

only time consuming part was the oil return line, but you can do that wile you acualy waiting for the kit on a day when your board and have nothing else to do.

after the kit was installed fired it up ran smoother then it used to, sounded great.
took it up the street WOW this was friggin.. im ****tin all over myself, tire smokin ,civic stompin power!!!..
seriously i talked to all my friends and they all told me "6 psi is nothing" . . . i agreed untill i acualy got the kit.
6 psi will put you on your friggin *** and leave a nice imprint of righty and lefty on your seat!!!

car is friggin quick and the best part,
the next day was only gettin quicker and quicker!

comments on recyled BOV: i though it was gonna be quite acualy i had a post a long wile back about disconecting the line for it and runnin opean atmostphere but now that i got it why would? it sounds sick as hell!
waste gate sounds crazy to, cars acualy kinda quite (for the first time) untill that friggin waste gate opens then it sounds wild and the person that was next to you is now reading your bumper stickers and listen to your BOV goin AHAHA i beat you
lol yo if anyone has any questions on the kit or anything just ask me and ill let you know

if its gotta be good its gotta be a ROAD///RACE!!!!

Liquid, you going to woodbridge this weekend or Six Flags on the 19th of Oct? I'd love to see the car. ...oh yeah, and meet another forum member too. Check the NE regional forum if you want a little more details.

Yeah, I'm also curious...intercooled or non?

Give us a shop we can drive to, Rob!

Do you know any shops that you trust and who'd be willing to sell/install parts anywhere in the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area? I know I won't be able to do an LSD install myself after I finally save up for my turbo kit.
