Try using copper plugs and dropping a heat range. You should be fine. I've fouled 3-4 sets already, but I'm still in tuning stages, so I'm not in much of a position to comment.

I used to use NGK copper plugs, heat range 7, .033" gap, in my modded Eclipse GSX. Worked great for about 10,000 miles, then it was time to change them.

For reference, the stock heat range was 6. I'd imagine yours are similar..?

I haven't gapped mine down yet. I just need a proper spark plug gapper before I do that...right now though my primary focus is on getting my car running again. After that I'll start to experiment with other things.

Been there before u start to get impatient and just want ur baby running again, but i think if i close the gap alittle they might last longer.

My car's been down since November. The only reasons I'm in a hurry are because I'm tired of driving ****ty automatics, and I need transportation to and from school.

NGK BKR7E's at .030... .028 for higher than 11psi... seemed to last for good 15k+ miles and be great.

I agree with Boe on that one. I've had mine for 15K plus, and my car still starts right up and runs great. NGK is the way to go.
