non-ic psi is set at 5 psi I believe, you should get a header..it helps alot. custom 2.5 from the rrm downpipe back would probably be like $150 but not sure, and yes the kit does use the stock exhaust manifold. dont know what tools u need to install it tho, good luck.

ok lots of questions. no you dont get gauges and a pod with it. i do not suggest that you install it yourself bc you are somewhat of a n00b. get a good performacne shop to do it. you can use the sock exhaust mani. a custom turboback all depends on where and waht you want with it. my nonIC is set at 7psi.

crap boni you beat me to it.

you dont have to get the headers, its not necessary.

im hoping that you didn't actually send out the money already. it seems like you havn't looked into this kit too much yet if your asking the questions you have asked. im not tryiing to be a dick but you should prolly ask these things to people that know first or ask ROCK, that way you can be sure of what your ordering and what your money is going in to.

pgmike - i think boni is referring to the downpipe as the one that already comes with the turbo kit, and then adding a 2.5 inch exhaust system to that.

As far as gauges go, if you want quality, go with GReddy, great gauges and great accuracy. If you want a deal, lancershopper.com offers a Autometer Boost, EGT, and A/F gauge with a triple A-Pillar pod that will fit the Lancer for 300 bucks. Great deal, but the gauges aren't that accurate. Here is the link to the deal:

http://lancershop.com/combo_deal_packs.htm

Scroll down and you will see it. Just decide if you want accuracy or a bargain. That is all up to you.

something i would recommend is the 3/8th's NPT tap.. have a shop do it.. buy that RTV copper gasket, and a little scraper(to wedge between the block and the oil pan) study the instructions and carry out the procedure in your mind.. hey if a 17 year old kid can do it so can you.. just read it through a couple of times and plot out the steps.. take great care in tapping the oil pan and putting it back.. i broke one of my bolts and its stuck in my block still.. i gotta get that out soon hahaha.. if you have any more questions feel free to e-mail me at touchdehmonkey@cs.com or AIM at touchdehmonkey
