turbo for 2002 lancer
i have a 2002 lancer with a turbo and have to rebuild engine from previous owner not useing the right fuel its only putting out 5 psi would it be a smart idea to put forged pistions in and if so where can i find some reasonable

www.roadracemotorsports.com give them a try. should have everything you need. and 5 psi is just about normal on our little lancers.
What kind of turbo kit is in the car first off? Second, yes I would reccomend JE (RRM) Pistons, and if you have the money, go ahead and get Pauter rods from RRM too. That way your engine will be pretty much bullet proof. Now if you plan on getting crazy with the boost, like above 12 pounds, I'd reccomend a decompression head gasket from RPW. Just some things to think about.
the turbo system on this is a greddy turbo im not exactly sure all i no after i just pulled off the head today is that the piston rings have melted and that i think it ma have been more boost then the guy said what do you guys think because this is the first time ive seen something like this
