i heard that the 2004 lancer es has less speakers and $hittyer system in general compared to the others>>LS,OZ,RAL.??.ect.??.). can someone tell me were are the speakers mounted in the better stock system lancesr?? i have a 2004 lancer es and mine just came with 4 speakers total (one in each passanger and driver door and two more in the back under that ledge behind the back seats below rear window)
oh ya what size are the speaker in the front doors? and how do i get to them/?

 

the locations are the same in all lancers only difference is the upper end ones have tweeters in the A-pillers and a nicer deck. If I am not mistaken the speaker sizes are all the same 6.5 all the way around. Just to let you know in advance most aftermarket speakers are slightly larger than the 6.5 stock ones so you will need to slightly shave the door speaker bracket in the front two doors rear speakers will fit fine because they allowed extra space.

 

kool thanks for the info. does anyone have a pic of these pillers?? could i order those pillars from the dealer? will i be able to find aftermaket speaks that can fit in those pillar tweeter holes, or do i need the stock tweeter to?? i would luv to get a nice stock look with aftermarket tweeter in those pillars if possible? or should i just get them custom put in my stock ones?? anyone have pics of this done??basicaly should i go out and get these pillars or get some tweeter installed in the stock pillars i have now??? i dont care for the head unit i changed that already...my first mod lol

If your lucky all the wiring for the tweeter is already in there. All you need is the a-pillers and speakers.

I know this is the case with the spoiler light and fog lights(no switch... may also be wired though )
