Affects of weather

Ok lately I've been hearing a lot more rattling from the bump in my trunk. We recently had a nasty snow storm, and I'm wondering how that might affect my subs and my car. My trunk was iced over, which I took care of last night. How does the cold affect subs, and how does the cold affect car rattles?

Cold will make some parts shrink. Not by alot, but just enough(it's physics). When the metal parts in your trunk shrink, they get closer to each other, so they touch each other more easily creating more rattle noises...

That's what I figured it was. I hate the cold. As soon as I can I'm getting a ticket out of here.
