Question Antenna Thread

Question
I was wondering if anyone knows what antenna thread the 2002 Lancers use. My friend has a VW Passat and was able to replace his antenna with a shorter Honda S 2000 one. Is there any thing similar that can be done on the Lancer. I'm basically looking for a shorter antenna to replace the factory one with. Thanks for you time.

We actually share the VW-Honda thread. You can use the ones the Vdubs use, or you can use the same Honda 2000 one that your boy has.

Cool, but does it really make that much of a diff. or do you guys just want a "better looking antenna"?

Yeah, it's not that big a deal, just makes your car look a little "sleeker" (if that's possible on the Lancer) and look a little less like an RC car.

The new Civic SI has a nice short antenna!

Is that what you have on there?

I will suck if I ever walked outside to find my Lancer antennaless!
