Hey does n e one know if the avic n1 supports the ipod, i know pioneer has a special piece you can buy that will have rca inputs for it, and u use the AUX function on the deck, im jus seeing if the avic has that input on it?

Also, whoever has the Avic, does it support like VCDS,SVCDS and all that stuff???

nah, it doesn't. they're coming out with version 2 at the end of the month and it has an ipod converter (like the Alpine units) that allows you to control the ipod thru the touch screen. i'm looking to pick this new version up as soon as i can pay off my taxes.

also, i just came across a clarion head unit with a touch screen ipod interface that's only $900.
