there's a couple threads on this. do a search for firewall or something. apparently there's a hole on the passenger side that is accessable, or you could drill your own hole.

i wish i had my pictures up on this one. tell ya what, if you can wait till like friday, i'll try to get a scanner and show you some pics. anyhow, i liked the way i ran my lines, because its really clean, and actually pretty easy (aka NO DRILLING). here's how:

open your driver side door. see that space in between the door and the frame where there's a rubber grommet running power to the window, lock and mirror? ok, in that quarter panel is where i ran mine.

looking at the battery, look just to the right, and down a bit if i remember (its late now, i'll look at my car tomorrow an edit if i have to). there's a gap there that will run to the door. use a coat hanger to help pull the line through. poke a tiny hole in the rubber, and pull it through (and i do recommend poking. i cut a small slit with scissors, and though its still fine, it runs the risk of getting bigger over time.)

hope this helps. i'll really try to post those pics soon.

D

If you look near the kick panel, you can see some plastic housing where the hood release wiring goes. I popped that out as far as it will go and drilled a hole on the top, which I used to thread my power wire.

As for getting your wire from the battery to the new hole, you can run it right alongside the hood release wire. Just trace it with your finger and you'll see where it feeds to.

I ran my thru a rubber gromit on the drivers side near the door. Small hole, run wire. no problems yet. Ran it under the carpeting and it's mounted under the passenger seat.

Here's a pic I just uploaded to illustrate where I ran the wire. Feel free to PM me or catch me on AIM if you've got any more questions.

::edit:: To save those of you on dial up, here's a link to my registry. It's the last picture in the series.
