where do you guys purchase
where do you guys purchase your subs/amps/speakers? Online? What sites have the best prices, good shipping, and overall service? Also if you guys buy them online, where do you guys get it installed?

ebaymotors.com or mmxpress.com. I've found them to be most cost effective, and reliable. If the site is back up, uscaraudio.com is good too. As far as install, do it yourself. there are enough threads on the subject to where if you can follow instructions and have some good tools, no problem.
ive used www.etronics.com and was very happy with prices and shipping time

1. one wasn't Tweeter (nothing but JL and the big-name stuff... retail price)
2. one wasn't a one-off shop that carried only big name brands, too (retail price)
3. one wasn't a shady, half-*** shop that carries zapco and eclipse... but the employees sit behind the counter smoking cigs right on the shop floor and all the guys there love acting like they know everything (prices not as bad)

People will probably flame me for sayin this, but i get my stuff from best buy. If u gotta buddy that works there they get car audio dirt cheap, and always buy the 4 year warranty thing, it has never failed that I blow my sub, amp, whatever and I just take it back and they give me another one. I usually just get speakers and amps there. I got my hu through crutchfield b/c they give u the harness for free.
