I agree, great start... If you really like doing this stuff yourself it will probably take 3-4 more times redoing it to really get it looking nice. Just takes practice and imagination. Oh, and don't forget to look at other peoples installs, its much easier to copy or atleast get good ideas of where stuff should go.

This ****'s funny as hell...I had a good laugh.

YOU HAVE NO CLUE! HERE YOU GO! TRY NOT TO ***!!
No, it didn't, because I work on jerkoff's cars like yours all the time. Except, mine are all German engineered Bimmers, not some P.O.S. GM wannabe Yukon...oh sorry Hummer. Who cares what you paid for your rims? It's as bad as the guy who pays $2000 for his rims and puts them on a '95 Park Avenue with 210K miles...plus, factory 21" rims with tires at my dealer cost more than that, anyway.

Leave the guy alone. I know everyone else has said it already. You do what YOu can with YOUR OWN budget...not what everyone else wants to hear.

I own that same Pioneer amp and an Audiobahn DVC sub...doesn't sound "blingin" or "slammin" because I listen to death metal. It rounds out the sound.

I have my cords hidden under the trunk mat and a sealed MTX box. That's all I need. It doesn't take up much trunk space. I am not about spending loads of cash on MUSIC. I buy stuff that's decently priced and good quality. I have never had to return anything because it's defective and I have never had something underperform what I WANTED.

Anyway...keep this thread going, it's hysterical.

Factory option along with keyless entry and some other small things. I have them, too.

As for mommy and daddy paying for everything, I, too, have paid for everything my whole life, including my first car at 15.

Here is my setup, nothing special and flashy, just nice and clean looking.

I had that same box...I like how it matches the carpet and you didn't over do the neons...only problem I have is the bass resonates too much for what I listen to...but if it suits your musical tastes...bueno!

Like I said before, it's a factory option that comes with keyless entry, it's a convenience package.

Honestly I could care less what anyone says about my sound system. Sit in my car, and you'd never guess most of my stuff was on sale. I hid the wires under my mat in the trunk, some are exposed, and the box was one I bought made by MTX. I never thought a box would make a difference but that's a different story.

I couldn't care less if it looks professional or not. It sounds good. That's all that matters.

well everyone has got to start somewhere... its not bad for what you payed for it...

this is the start of my install... im doing it all in pieces because i keep on ordering more and more and replacing things. its going to be in several steps. no it is not through to the engine bay, and its not connected to anything yet. sorry if you want to consider this hijacking
