well i did run through the side panels but I am running a 2 gauge power wire, so if i were to put that on the side, it would look like crap with a huge bulge. I am so picky with my installs, and i didnt want my wires to be seen, or felt, so i ran the power down the middle. The RCA's, remote, and my amp link are all down the passenger side...

Well its Monster cable, so you can get it off the website. I was going to do a 0 gauge, but its just not that necessary for all im running. You can actually buy an 2 gauge kit off bestbuy's website for like $99 and it gives you 17ft of 2gauge, a 2 gauge gromet, some 4 gauge wiring, and some tie cables, which is actually not bad for the price. I got my 2 gauge actually from Tweeter, but now they are discontinuing all Monster products.

X1 looks good for a first system. my first system was in my truck, a Alpine Type-R 12" in a ported box. blew it and bought a JL W3v2 when money allowed. the system came out of my truck and went into my lancer 3 days after i bought it. now i need to find a way to make it all look good in my truck. by the way for future reference

most of the bass come from the back of the sub (magnet side) if that matters to you at all.

looks good for a 1st setup. just dont plan on going on a roadtrip of any sort..

I think it looks good. I normally don't post stuff like this on this site just because of this reason.

Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. As long as you like it.
