help please

help please

hey everyone i have a problem with the the finishing touch on my alarm/remote start install the install manual says under the catagory output devices and central locks wires are as follows
orange-is nc
white -common unlock*
yellow-no
orange black-nc
white black-common lock*
yellow black-no

so i hooked up the white one to the light green door unlock wire in my car and the white/ black to the violet wire in my car but the doors wont unlock/lock there is also a catagory labled input devices and the wires are as follows

blue-door pin switch (-)activating by negative polarity
blue white- door pin switch (+) activating by positive polarity
I did not hook these wires up to anything can anyone help me on how to get my doors to lock and unlock

the wires you listed white, and white black are probably the correct wires although you will need to supply the internal relays with a ground( thats why they are listed common) there will be a single wire that will either be attached to ground or attached to power depending upon the polarity that is needed. in your case the wire will need to go to ground. it will probably also be labeled as common and will be on the same harness coming from the brain.

the blue will go to the dome light wire in the kick panel. the blue white will not be used at all.

there is also a yellow wire that is suppose to go to my eninge oil light it says its for tyhe remote start do i need this hooked up and if so where is this wire or atleast wat color thanks again
