Get it here: http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/S...id/0/SFV/30046 Cheapest I found it! I'm in the middle of moving across the country, so I haven't had time yet to do a write up, but as soon as I'm settled, I'll get that write up done!

hey Z, if you happen to catch this....do you think I could use that window module with the sunroof controls? that would be a whole lot nicer than rolling the windows down IMHO.

DO IT....i thought my autopage 2 way alarm was safe but somebody cut the mesh in the front bumper, stuck theyre hand it, popped the hood, and then cut the battery before it even had time to page me.....i wish i would have known about a backup battery...those F#CKERS took EVERYTHING so do yourself a favor and get it

question: what is a backup battery and where does it go? i assume a smaller battery you have hidden in the cabin or trunk somewhere so the alarm still sounds, right?

^^ Yes. The backup battery is, like the name implies, a reserve power supply in the event that someone cuts your battery cable. However, if you don't have a two way pager, the backup will only help to keep the siren going, in which case, if the theives can cut your battery cables, they'll cut your siren wires in about 5 seconds after that. So, if you don't have a 2-way paging system, I would get two sirens and the backup battery.

I say yes. That would be awesome. I don't have a sunroof, so I couldn't really help with the install unless you're close to Ann Arbor, MI and can bring the car over. Then I would be more than willing to help with the install. I recently re-wired all my windows so that now the fronts roll down together and then the rears, and when I arm the car, the rears roll up first and then the fronts.

here's the window module...

Also, I got my window control modules on ebay - $35 for two modules - that allows you to roll up and down all 4 windows. Here is a link:

Again, sorry for not getting this write up yet. I've finally moved to Ann Arbor, MI now and am settled. First day of graduate school is tomorrow I'll try to get this done ASAP! THanks again guys

did you ever do a write-up?

at least please list all the wires and their colors you had to use

i know the basics...solder and tape every wire but i wanna get one installed soon since the winter is harsh here in chicago

was your also a remote start? i looked at your info and I dont' think it is?
you bought the window modules off ebay...but what about the trunk solenoid...where and how much?

I think i may get an autopage also but get the remote start version...its like $155...so i think mine will end up costing around $200 installed if I do it myself.

thanks
