Hey, I am waiting on an evo, and since I have no garage, my 1st addition will be a better security system, preferably 2-way with a pager. here are some questions and issues.

any reccomendations for brands or models?

would it be difficult to incorporate an aftermarket system with the remote lock and unlock? I think regular lancers have it, how have you guys worked around this feature?

Th evo will have an engine immobilizer... How do I deal with this if I'd like to use the remote start/ turbo timer features found on most 2-way alarms.

I read about a safety switch needed for the manual transmission and the E-brake. Could someone go into more detail about this? I'm still a bit confused about the whole spring, coat hanger grounding thing.

The evo should also have auto lock and unlock when the engine starts and stops, respectively.. how will this affect such an alarm with remote start/ turbo timer, and remote lock/ unlock?

I know Its a lot of questions, but the mst sophisticated alarm I've installed was a few years back with no unlock features, no factory theft deterrents, and no immobilizer. I'm still debating on whether I can handle this install myself, but I just want to know if it's even possible for an alarm shop to make it happen. Thanks
