BTW, i hope you dynamated your car!

 

I was amazed at how weak our alternators are I use to have 2 MTX 1000D's running 4 Alpine Type R's in my car and a MTX 4 Channel for my highs and all I had was 2 Caps and my lights only dimmed a little. Yesterday I installed a new clarion deck in my car and just that alone made my lights dimm we turned it up and had the door open and the light was dimming I could hardly belive it no extra amps or anything. And soon im installing a ALpine 4 channel I have and probably a Bazooka Bass tube that im getting for free from my sponser.

 

lights dimmed at idle? or while the car is running?

my lights dimmed with stock stereo and the A/C on at idle. don't worry about idle. if they dim while driving then worry.

 

i upgraded my alternator and i barely have any dimming, paid $450 for a delco 200 amp installed.....i just got done dynamatting my trunk over the weekend, and i took off the rear bumper and laid a special type of foam padding so the bumper doesnt rattle anymore
