tweeter sounds EXCELLENT. and it actually is facing me. it is angle mounted. can't really tell from the picture, but it is angled out towards the cabin. i don't really want them facing DIRECTLY at me anyway, cause they are so freaking bright!! i have them on a 6dB cut on the crossover, and they are still loud! it sounds really clean and very very accurate. it is exactly the system i was expecting. the bass isn't overpowering, it is there adding thump to the music. it can get a good deep heart felt kick if it needs to. the highlight is the clear front components. man they rock!

yes i installed the tweeters in the A pillar myself. i drilled a hole and cut out the rest with a knife. it's sorta messy, but you can't even tell once the tweeters are in place.

with a friend, total install took about 5 hours. didn't really run into any problems. the first problem was mounting the woofer in the door. they are 6 1/2"s and in mitsubishi's wisdom the hole is almost 6 1/2" in diamater so that i had to make some nice angled screw holes.

the other thing was the tweeter, cutting out the hole, but i just took a boring bit and then cut away the rest with a utility knife.

i think the hardest part was getting the door back on. stupid cover wouldn't fit! i wondered how i got it off in the first place. something happened with my door handle, the spring is sorta messed up so that the handle doesn't spring right back, but eh. small price to pay for great sound!

Looks very nice. I ran into the same issue with my door handle and the spring .. I just can't figure out the correct direction to get it in. I pondered taking my passenger side door handle assembly out to look at it .. but dont want two fked up door handles. If you figure out how to get it in there, PLEASE take a pic. I'll buy ya a beer if ya do :P
