Hey, im new to the site, i have a 03 lancer es. Currently i have an alpine deck with 2 12" volfenhagg subs and a legacy amp. Tell me what you guys think.

 

This is pretty good lookin too. is that enclosure custom? hows it sound?

 

It is a bandpass box that came with the subs. It gives it a deeper bass plus no worries of the subs getting easily damaged. I mounted the amp ontop of the box to have more room and a better look. It sounds really good, the subs handle 2000 watts of power while the amp is 1800 just enough so i wont blow them.

 

yeah it looks pretty badass. i see that amp makes it a perfect fit, good idea though. I like it. I was thinking about subs but i gotta haul sh*t all the time cause I'm in college. about how many inches you got between the front of the box and end of the trunk?

 

It not much room because the subs are so big, i usually use the back seats to carry stuff, plus at the moment i dont have my sub box secured so it can still be moved around.

 

Looks good to me too. I've never heard those subs in action, but I've heard good things about the brand. Just be extremely careful with such a massive heavy box while it's not secured to the trunk...my friend hit a bump in his sentra before his sub box was secured and it ripped the wiring out of his amp. OUCH!

 

well i just got it drilled to my car wit L brackets so its secure now.

 

i just keep lookin at the box and subs. i think that box looks hot.

 

Ill take some more pics of it tommorow in the day time, i like them, more bass plus less worry.
