Elemental Designs

I was wondering if anyone had ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS i've heard positive from only 1 person i know and i was wondering if anyone has any of their products. i was thinkin about buying a complete system from them (wires, components, amps, sub, and sound deadening [ex. a headunit])

Their prices are very nice, and everything looks legit, but i wanna know if their quality is as good as their prices, i know they say u get what u pay for, but hell, for an amp and components for $400 shipped i wanna jump on them real fast.

The specs don't look too bad, but that price just makes me uneasy...as you said, you definitely get what you pay for. The component system looks like a decent quality high/mid range setup, the tweeters are dome design, which emits a nice warm tone. As far as the amp is concerned...It looks like it would be comparable to sony, kenwood, jvc, etc. It is a class A/B amp, which is suited for the component application, but it may not be of very good build quality. Cheap amps are notorious for overheating, as well as clipping speakers. I wouldn't buy any audio equipment unless you were able to hear the frequency response yourself. All speakers have different tones, and what one may like, another may hate. The price just scares me...maybe if you could compare them side by side with a known quality set, it may offer better insight.

Well, you will find about an equal group of ED lovers / haters in the caraudio world. The owner Ben Milne, has been known to **** over lots of his friends/customers. I personally wouldn't buy from them just because some of those "friends/customers" are my friends as well. Lots of people who have purchased their products seem to be happy with the performance, so to each his own. Do a search over on www.caraudio.com/vb and see what others have to say.

hmmm... well im selling alot of subs and amps and im thinkin about starting fresh... i think the price is low because they're fairly new (compared to JL, Alpine and etc.)

anyone have an idea on a HeadUnit? i have a cheapo WalMart Sony Xplode cd player it cost like $70 and it was for my old beater car so i aint care about quality, just i needed a CD player cuz TAPES SUCK...

Their price is low because they only sell direct. Basically you are paying what a dealer would pay for the product. They do not sell to dealers. They arent really new unless you consider about 5 yrs old new. As far as a headunit goes, Im a personal fan of Kenwood Excelon units, but most other people prefer Alpine or Eclipse decks.

i want a HU, with MORE than 2 AUX inputs, and its gonna be for SQL, so what should i go for? direct links would help ALOT. i search n dont find anything. i was thinkin about gettin a turbo or whatever, but i think SQL setup would be safer and would be more nice cuz i go to drive-ins and listen to music all the time.

You can install a touch screen monitor without moving the HVAC controls, if you like the flip out single din types. (like the Alpine IVA-D310) Also, if you need more inputs than the HU originally comes with, you could always make a custom plate with all the input jacks you want. All it would take would be a little time, creativity, and trip to RadioShack.
