they are 6.5inch speakers. you will need an adapter since our cars have 6.75inch(sometimes called oversized 6.5) openings. Search ebay for lancer speaker adapters. They're about $10 shipped.
You might want to ask about the mounting depth though. We have somewhere between 2.75 and 3inches of depth before we hit the window.

Those MB Quart speakers are very nice, and also very pricey. I have tested the qsd series and also the Infinity Kappa perfect series and I personally like the sound of the Infinity better. Mid bass is more defined and the treble is not as harsh. Both were tested using the Mb Quart RAA 4200 amplifier and a Panasonic 7401 HU with 5 volts of preamp output. It is my estimate that they were getting around 200 watts RMS and both sounded great. I am sure most would be happy with the MB Quart speakers. IMO!

in my rear deck yesterday using those adapters. They work as advertised. You reuse the factory grill, and top mount the speakers. Remember sensitivity (SPL) rating is everything. 90db or above for mids and highs, 100db up for subs. Anything in the 80's are like Lancers with 18" wheels, slugish and power hungry.
Sensitivity ratings don't mean as much on subs, especially if you're putting massive wattage to the sub and then a little to the fronts. Besides that, you are not going to find 100db sensitivity in anything besides horn loaded compression drivers(96db is amazing efficiency for any car speakers). If you must have a number, 88db @ 1w/1m is pretty good for a sub. Thats the same as 91db @ 2.83v/1m if you see that measurement as well.
I've got a PSD-216 setup w/ 2 tweets and the mid-bass was no problem to install. No need for the adapter plate. Just a few new drilled holes and use the hardware that came with the system and you'll be set. No problem ( minus running the heavier wiring through the rubber tunnel between the door and jam)... Here's my setup ( https://www.evolutionm.net/registry/....php?mid=19919 ).

I fit Focal Utopia 6.5's in, take a piece of 3/4 MDF and trace the factory speaker mount, cut out the opening for the speaker and it clears fine. Running wire through the door is a snap. Hope that helps but my Utopias are deep as hell and I have no problems.
I recently picked up some Type X Components from Alpine. I haven't installed them yet but I did check the depth and I have to use an adapter as well to get them to clear the window
