Cadence

I did do a search for cadence, but it didnt seem to turn up anything relevent to my question... which simply is are theses subs any good? I honstly can't find much info on them. Offical page is www.cadencesound.com
Right now im looking at the Ultra Drive subwoofer w/ an Orange Chrome Electro-Luminescent cone... 2 12's
Does anyone have cadence subs or have heard them? If so I'd appreciate your input.
Thanks

i've heard of them, i think they are pretty decent. as far as subs go, just get something that can handle the power you put to it. spend more money on the amp.

I would recommend Cadence amps before their subs...I've heard a lot of positive feedback about their A7HC (old school) amp, and I've heard systems run by it that sound really nice...nice clean output and relatively low amp consumption...the only Cadence subs I've heard are the Beasts...and they're comp subs so you cant really compare them to their lower line products...I would say construction and reliability I would recommend them, but as for sound quality, I cant say...hope that helps...

Well I definitely need a new/better amp.. however a shop near me is running a buy one get one free promotional deal, so i wanted to get in on that if possible. I suppose i can always resell them on ebay if I dont like them, and possibly even make some profit. Id really like to put the money towards an amp, but my current sub/amp combo is old so I'll need to replace both and I hate to pass up the current deal...

Cadence has a good track record, I am a firm believer that it isnt so much the speaker as it is the box, when I have bought subs I find the best deal and use the extra money to make a damn fine box. The brand is credible, so if the price is right get em.
