XM or Sirius?
sirius has better programming for what i like to listen to... Check out there s50 it blows the myfi and airwave away and it doesnt even do live streaming. IF anyone has owned a myfi they will tell u the reception on it is not that great anyhow. On the s50 you can store 50hrs of music its a color screen by far the best looking unit.

However with the s50 you cant have live satelite radio portable. so it kinda defeats the purpose. its then just like an ipod/mp3 player. but for people that dont already have an ipod or an mp3 player. its a good thought.
Again, i have both, i like some stations on xm better than i do sirius, and visa versa.
did you ever come to a decision on which to get?
I got (((XM))) and I love it! Know why? Cuz I have it completely FREE!

I just got Sirius and i LOVE it....never listened to XM but the programming on Sirius owns. I mean it's not enough that they have enough stations in every genre of music that you can always find something you'll love to listen to and in some cases have you saying WOW i havent heard that song in ages BUT they also have 2 kickass comedy channels lol
XM is technologically better (portables, channel blocking, etc).
As for programming the only thing I listen to on XM is Opie and Anthony (Howard Stern is over folks). I don't think I'll be keeping my XM when my current subscription is up. Not enough content to justify the price. When I want music it still seems like I can't find anything I like. If you want music get an MP3 player. Or maybe try Sirius if their programming is better like people say.

i have been listening to sirius for a few months now, bubba the love sponge and howard on both his stations are awesome. the rock stations are awesome and some rap(for the bass of course) is good. sounds more like a cd then radio. yes sirius is behind on their technology for their recievers/transmitters but xm's reception is hardly worth comparing. if u really wanna know whats better now go to any local circuit city or best buy and try to get your hands on a sirius sattelite. thats the true suggestion

Well I currently have XM, the Roady XT, and I think it is great. I might be purchasing a Sirius unit also in the near future since its programming is free with my newly purchased satellite tv service. Now all I need is a Sirius unit and before too long I can decide which is actually better in my area.
I prefer XM... Opie and Anthony is far far better than Stern...and it has MLB and ACC athletics. I dont know about anyone else, but I dont care if Sirius has the NFL or the NBA as neither of those things are sports worth listening too. IMO, baseball is really the one sport that is perfectly good to listen to on the radio/sattelite.
