Alternative brands other than Dynomat
I was just wondering if there are any cheaper brands of sound deadening than Dynomat, and do u just apply it where ever the rattle is or in a certain location near the rattle.
pretty much install sound deadening wherever you think the rattle is coming from. putting it in a bunch of different places won't hurt. it also keeps the sound inside the car rather than reverberating outside of it.
run a google search for sound deadening material for car audio, there's probably tons of companies and sites with info out there.
too often people feel they are limited to search on evom.net have we all forgotten the power of google??

Cascade, BrownBread, eDead, raamat, peel & seal
Really depends how much you're looking to pay. Plug those names into google, you'll get what you're looking for. (well... might take some more specifics on things like "brown bread")

go to home depot or walmart, they have spray stuff that works as a sound deadener, It's not used for specificly for cars so it wouldn't be in any automotive sections, but it's in the store somewhere. I'll try and get the name, if someone else doesn't get it before me
