New Custom Trunk Setup Picture!!

Just got my trunk finished finally. Fiberglassed into the spare tire well and overlayed in carbon fiber! The pic is from the carlisle show last weekend.

Seems like a very nice setup, but I think the picture isn't giving it enough credit...

My original setup was done almost 3 years ago. It was the same thing except the box was covered in black vinyl instead of carbon, and I had different subs and amp. I just had my friends at tweeter (they're the same guys that did my door panels) remove the vinyl and overlay the box in carbon, and then I got new subs and a new amp. But I don't like that amp, I'm gettin a jl 500/5 pretty soon.

Unfortunately I don't have my spare tire any more. Had to remove it to make room for the box. Not a big deal though. If I ever get stranded I have my cell phone, and I never drive it on long trips (except to some shows).

The dvd cases are just in there because I was at a show and I had those dvd's playing on my screens.

^^^ I was just going to say, what was the idea behind the Power Ac. amp? Not to jack your thread, but soon I'll be posting what custom setup I've personally accompished. Very proud, since I did all the work... A+++ for the CF !

Main reason why I chose the amp is because I go to a lot of indoor shows, and the plasmasphere does look pretty sweet when it's all lit up. I got the subs because rockford has always made pretty good quality subs, and they were cheap. They sound fine for what I was looking for. I'm not trying to win any spl comps or anything. I just wanted a good, clean, show-quality install that also sounds good for everyday driving.
