In Dash Screen Wiring

Just a quick question to help me out, do you think it would be a problem using the same wires from my HU for my screen. The red power wire and the yellow acc wire, would it cause any problems or not?

run the signal wires as far as you can from the power wires. make sure everything is grounded well

I hope you guys know there is that auxilary power port in the fuse box that is next to your left knee on the drivers side. All you have to do is get one of those special add-a-fuse things that has the receptical to run a power wire off of it.

Not a very clean way to do it.

Just out of curiostiy...why is this not a clean way?

I was thinking about this for my radar detector but if it doesn't switch off, then it might be a problem
