Hey everyone,
Im looking to put a new sound system in my car
(a sedan) however i have everything worked out execpt for subs and amps, im looking for pretty clear bass, with enough of a punch that you can feel it, and it makes the spikes of your hair vibrate *very cool :-P* anyway, if anyone knows what i should be lookin at in terms of size and amp power, that would be great.... looking to spend less than 1000 on a sub and amp system for subs, thanx

if you have a clarion dealer near you check out the flat piston subs. they hit hard and are not bad priced. 12s are $120 a piece, 10s are $99 (at my local dealer) you would most likely be pleased

ive got two infinity perfect 12's and cheap amp (pyramid 1200watt), hits HARD! im gonna upgrade the amp and it'll sound much nicer. only reason i got the amp is because i bought the stuff as a package deal from someone. those subs kick *** though.
