Question Sub Question

I hope this is not a repeat question because ive looked and couldnt find anything so i apoligize ahead of time if it is. In the 2008 Lancer GTS with the Rockford Fosgate sound system, is it possible to unhook the stock sub from the stock amp and hook the sub up to another aftermarket amp?

As long as the connections are the same, just make sure the aftermarket amp has a similar watt rate with the stock sub.

Yup, power is a concern, but more importantly is the impedence (ohms). Unless someone knows, you may have to pull the oem sub, and look around on the magnet area to see if it has its impedence printed on it. (they usually do). Match your sub to that impedence and you should be fine.
