So my friend got an srt-4 and he told me to sit in his car and listen to his system, I guess they come with a stock 10" sub. And I told him that mine comes with one also. So he turns on his radio and his bass was wayyyyyyyy deeper and hit way harder, and Im thinking hmmmmm mine sounds like garbage compared to his.

So the question is. Is it because of the sub in the evo's that blow or is it the amp?? or both??

 

I think the both suck, both amp and sub.

FWIW the SRT system doesnt sound too bad for a factory job.

 

Yea I was thinking about getting a better amp but I didnt know if that would help at all or just blow out my sub

 

getting the SSL package sub/amp is pointless coz soon or later you will want more power and will end up buying some aftermarket products
