hey just in case anyone didnt get a letter in the mail, theres a recall on the lancer for the "rear door sash" (whatever that is) i have the lancer ES and just got mine replaced today. takes about an hour. if ur not sure if ur car has the recall just go to the service department and ask theyll ask for ur vin and theyll tell u. also i thought my sub was blown out and they told me that its actually a problem with the amp (i have the rockford fosgate system) they told me the new amp, which is an updated model will be coming in monday, and they will call. so if anyone has similar problems you should get it checked out cuz the warranty covers it all also this is getting long lol but i asked one of the guys there if the RRM intake would void the warranty and he calmly said no. he explained that they really dont care unless u mess around with the actual engine.

 

what do you mean by the rear door sash? Ive been having a problem with the outer window trim that keeps popping up. Its hard to explain but its basically the lowest point of trim on the outer part of the door where the window slides in and out along it...hopefully thats not too confusing

 

i already had mine fixed, but i heard it that the reason this recall is there if because the door would snap off if hit on a certain part of the car
