Question Need help With my stereo

im not sure wats wrong with my stereo , when the cars off, i cant turn up the volume 2 much , if i do, it would dim every thing(lighting) and if i turn it up 2 much it just turns off(stereo), its a jvc stereo , installed it reall good, i was thinking could it b the fuse is 2 small? or just need to ground the car better?, or iz it becuz my battery is 2 small? becuz it looks smaller , it sit's 3 inches smaller than the mount

pictures of the battery ? Its def a power drain issue. The only time i had that happen was when my alternator died and it was trying to run totaly off the battery. have your alternator checked.

It sounds to me like you already figure it out very well. If the stereo vanishes when you turn the volume high it sounds like your ground is really weak.
If the stereo dies when the volume is turned high then it wouldn't powerup again then it is a small size fuse.

im sure my batterys 2 small , compaired to my friends lancer battery its like 3 inches smaller , and like 5 pds lighter

did someone before you change the battery out ? I know there are small batteries made to use if you have alot of stuff in your engine bay or are simply trying to cut down on weight. If you think thats the issue get an optima red top, ive got one and have NEVER had a problem with it.
