or still gives a rat's ass about this project I started way too long ago... well, it's finished. For those just tuning in, I'll save you from sifting through that ancient thread and just give you the cliff notes version now.

very nice and tastefully done. very nice choice on the HU, one of my favorites... those look like diamond d6's in the pillars, how do you like them? i had them in mine and thought the aluminum tweeter was a little to sharp and ear piercing, so i replaced them w/ morel dotech MKII's

First, thanks for the kind words everyone... I really appreciate it.
Thanks bro... this HU has to be my favorite that I have ever owned (and I've owned quite a few). Yep, Diamond D6s...you got it. The tweeters were a bit harsh until I attenuated them at the crossover and tweaked the HU...it's a good thing I have soooo much control from the deck! I'm finally completely happy with the way the components, the front sub and the rear sub blend (after hours of tuning). It actually sounds quite warm and balanced now. Anyway, thanks again for the compliment.

amazing. I love it. Clean and almost stock looking from the dark colors and carpet. From teh looks of it, with the hinges on the bottom board it looks likt you can still get to the spare. Awesome if you can.
EDIT: after a second look, maybe those aren't hinges.

(Thanks Frank
)
Thanks again everybody... glad you're all diggin' it.
Yeah...about that spare tire..... The amp rack had to extend into that area a bit, so it's kinda gone. I've got it all figured out though... I just won't get a flat.
I appreciate the compliment blacklancerr. Your Lan has always been one of my favorites, so I really appreciate it. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out cosmetically, but IMO, I think it sounds even better!
btw drucea, those are hinges in the pic where the floor has no carpet. I had to hinge it to get it to fit in the trunk and still look like one seamless floor after the carpet.
