I got the CDX-M3DI coz i don't feel like spending extra for the external Amp plus i only spent 350 for it(EBAY)

agreed. i have this hu, and it freakin rocks! only had it 2 weeks, but i love it.....although i MIGHT (slight chance) sell it if can work out a deal im working on for an in dash lcd.

 

i like my jvc digifine for a couple reasons:

1. it's not a sony
2. it was $200
3. it looks nice and clean (i hate aftermarket HUs)
4. big silver volume KNOB, volume is supposed to be a potentiometer (even though mine is digital, at least it emulates it)
5. it plays mp3 cds and got good reviews for it's functions
6. has an excellent 7band EQ
7. it's not a sony
8. it's not a panasonic, kenwood, or pioneer
9. no one else has anything that resembles it
10. you can't buy it at bestbuy or walmart
11. it doesnt' have features that are cool for 5 seconds and cost an extra $500

mainly it looks clean, matches the interior, big silver volume knob, mp3s, cost $200.

 

i got the excelon mp3 by kenwood with wma support for only 350... try the military catalog. you will find everything alot cheaper there. hope that helps in you decision(oh yeah the deck retails for 600 to 700)
