Hey guys, i have a chance to get an Eclipse in dash LCD with indash 6 disc changer for a pretty cheap price, but heres the problem....the ESN feature has all the features locked up. Anyone has any suggestions? where to get it unlocked for cheap, how to do it if it can be done myself, or if someone here can do it? please let me know, so i can figure out if its worth it or not. he contacted eclipse, and they gave him a number to some stereo place that can do it, and they said it would cost around $190. i need to find it cheaper than that. oh yea, and unit is out of warranty, so it cant be done for free.

I use to have an eclipse head unit. If i remember correctly if you give eclipse a call they will give you a code to unlock it. Check out their website. It should have their number there. Good luck

I don't think you have to take it to a eclipse dealer I think you can do it your self.

 

yea, but i think thats only when its still under warranty. the guy im gonna get it from already called them.
