you're "about" 16 years old? make up your mind pal. i'm not tryin to flame or hate here, but how in the hell can someone who is "about" 16 afford a crazy system like that in a custom install, let alone in an EVO??? how in the hell did you afford the EVO to begin with????????

You don't need to be filthy rich to own an evo. He may of saved up for a good down payment and had money left over to spend on a stereo. Who knows. I had a friend who was only 15 and he was making a good 4k - 6k a month doing computer ****. So don't say it isn't possible.

oh, i didn't say it wasn't possible; sorry if i came off that way. but, damn, when i was 15-16 my wallet was always empty (or near empty).

Don't sweat it. When I was 15 I was lucky to even have a wallet let alone a dollar. Now I'm 20 and barely can keep a $5 in my wallet. Good thing is I have a wallet!

have yet to hear about an amplifier with a built in crossover
What kind of crossover are you thinking of? If you mean a fully adjustable one then I would have to agree, but there are many amps that have built in crossovers. Most are not as adjustable as a seperate one but they will allow you to switch between at least low and high and usually have a flat setting where you will get both lows and highs.
