I'am still working on my trunk.. I have a little bit left.. Just have to hide all the wires and build the panels that cover the gaps between the box and the sides. Theres also going to be a large piece of plexi glass covering the amps. I'll post more images as soon as I'm finished.

Well Del, you're right. Those are XO's. They come with the $1000 Bostons (Z6's)

Here's a pic: http://www.bostonacoustics.com/popup...=Z6SYS&Name=Z6

And here's a link to Product Info: http://www.bostonacoustics.com/ca_pr...&CategoryID=14

Hmmm... do u kno what ur talking about Majin?

Crossovers are not amplifiers and amplifiers are not crossovers. Drop the crackpipe and back away slowly

Amplifier: An amplifier's job is to take a weak audio signal and boost it to generate a signal that is powerful enough to drive a speaker

Crossover: A crossover breaks the audio signal into different pieces -- low frequency, high frequency and sometimes mid-range frequencies, so that each designated driver is dedicated to a certain frequency range.

I have yet to hear about an amplifier with a built in crossover.

well some amps have crossovers built in but i feel that they are always inferior to a seperate dedicated crossover. Kareem: My fronts are on a crossover and you heard how clean they are. that is the advantage of a crossover. it only sends the signals that i want to the speakers i choose (high frequency to my tweeters, low to my subs and mids to my well mids.).

The more I see this thread, the more I just want to call out a hearty "bull****" on majin... and the more he talks the more justified I feel in doing it. I'm not calling it now though... because maybe he's legit. I mean, maybe in some alternate universe people that do decent custom work have no idea how things work... but where I'm from if you're that into it, you'd damn well better know your sheez.

Even though the more I look at the pics, the more it looks like a shop job...

Heh... ok first off I didnt meen that I built this.. I had a pro do it and I paid him.... When I said let me show you some of my custom work I meant let me show you what Im having done. Anyway I'm about 16 years old and dont know crap so I'm not going to say anything else and save myself the embarrassment. The guy told me he wasnt using the crossovers for some reason but I shouldnt have said anything in the first place. Sorry for the confusion...............
