Question Upgrade the speaker wire?

If I upgrade my standard speaker wires and the wires going from my amp to the subs to a lower gauge wire (12 Gauge speaker wire), will I feel (bass)/ hear (quality) any difference?

I think the standard speaker wire is like 20-24 Gauge? I went to radio shack and bought 12 gauge speaker wire.

bigger wire means more room for current to travel thru, mine are zero Gauge. but they stick out and are hard to hide.

0/1ga speaker wire is just pissing your money away. You'd never realize a benefit from wires that large, nor could you cram them into any amp on the market today. (if you have, I'd like to see pics)

12ga wire is plenty big enough. Upgrade it and enjoy

gauge depends on the current you are running and the difference travelled. for pretty much any (non comp) system the MOST you would need is 12g speaker wire. i believe i have 14g and i odn't think i need that much, i just got it in case i want to upgrade at a later date, plus it wasn't much more expensive than 16g.
