bass question
My lights dimmed from the factory anytime that I let the car idle down a little bit. So, this question maybe a bit pointless... but just to humor the thread...
I have an Alpine MRD-M605 sub amp rated at 600 watts into 2 ohms, so by all standards on here, until I get a chance to test and calculate... I'm running 500 watts and only start to get light flicker when I turn the stereo all the way up and have the bass turned up from the normal setting.

Replace the stock Batt with an Optima Red Top or Yellow Top and then replace the stock alternator with a beefier one. Other solution is a voltage/amps regulator/stabilizer. Dimming happens in automobiles because volts & amps are being drawn in large amounts faster that they are being replaced - no stabilization.
