Alright so I followed the guide we have in the sticky section to take my factory out, but now im stuck... with out pictures it makes it tough to understand it for me
so do i cut this white part off and cramp the wires? or is there something else?


also my new stereo has 11 wires compared to i believe the 14 or more wires the stock adapter has... what do i do here?

 

Do NOT cut those wires. Buy a wiring harness adapter that fits your car. It'll plug in to that white connector, and have a wire for everything you need to connect to the head unit. Splice the wires from the head unit to the wires of the adapter, plug it in, done.

 

^Like the man said, get a harness available at an stereo shop. Also places like Circuit City or Best Buy should have them too!

best buy has them for sure, match up the diagram witing to the wiring diagram on your new head unit. Good to go!!

naw lol thats how it sounds though doesnt it?! haha. well about january 2006 i got my license suspended i FINALLY get it back in 8 days yay.
but thats why haha sorry imma get some pictures up this weekend when i have my subs installed as well...
the stereo it self is a Jensen 6.5 dvd/fm/am/cd touch screen
then the subs are
kicker L5's
with a kicker 1500w amp. n a ported box...


should i take pictures on a step by step for the amp installtion... cause i can see pictures are not our stronge point here on how-to's ??

 

Harness Will Run You Like 15 Dollars And You Can Leave The Factory Harness The Way It Is
