You can hook them up in a series (amp+ to sub1+, sub1- to sub 2+, sub2- to amp-). Or, you can hook them up parallel (amp+ to sub1 & sub2 +, amp- to sub1 and sub2 -). hope that doesn't confuse you.

It will really just depend on what the amp can handle and what the impedence (ohms) of the subs is.

Get a YellowTop! or don't run your setup w/o the car running.

test your battery, if its reading 12 volts or over then its a fuse or relay somewhere

sadly ive seen lots of people who dont know how to properly jump a car, but im sure u did it right

oh and the battery will help your system, dimming lights etc... and it most likely will never die

Is there a proper fitment for the Lancers with the yellowtop, or do we have to extend the power wire?

they all work fine, yeah off brands wont work as good but you will be pleased regardless as far as ive seen.
a yellowtop battery wont stop the light dimming but it will help some, if you really want to stop it search on upgrading alts.

you have to extend one of the battery cables for the yellowtop to fit properly
