amp problems with new head unit!?!

ok, so i just got an in dash touch screen lcd w/dvd, cd, and radio on ebay. its some random brand ive never herd of from hong kong and i got it for only $275... but its actually a lot better quality than i thought it would be. the buttons dont feel sloppy and seem to be secure, the motor on the flip out screen seems to move nice and the resolution is great! so all and all im very impressed for what i payed for it!

anyway i got all the wires hooked up and it turns on fine, but my amps dont. the funny thing is both my amps run off my capacitor and it will turn on but the amps wont.. ive checked the remote lines and fuses in both amps and i cant figure it out. i dont know what else it would be, but i dont know if im over looking something really stupid and obvious.

what do u guys think it could be?

Use a multi-meter and check to see what voltage you are getting on you remote and constant as well with how well it's grounded. Also check the fuses with a meter not just by eye.

Were the amps previously working/turning on with the HU? or is it a totally new system?

BTW, glad to hear the the generic HU is pretty nice!

Is there a "loud" button on the HU? Check the Chinese/Japanese instructions for a listing of all functions... Believe it or not, with electronics...you'll probably need them! LOL

yea ive looked all though the instructions and cant figure it out. the instruction book it came with is pretty crappy too. for as many things as this HU can hook up to and what not the hole book is only about 10 pages long...
