Talking Custom Audio Set up

Well after years of driving around with the same old junk I decided it was time to up date my audio set up. The following pictures are the first wave of installs being done to my car. What you see is a custom built fiberglass box houseing a 12" Eclipse SW8122DVC sub, powered by ( as well as the rest of the speakers in the car powered by) a 5 channel Eclipse PA5532 amp. I love this set up. And there is still more to come.

Looks really nice, what size sub? 10"?

The only thing I'd change if it was me, is the amp mount. Something about mounting amps to the backs of seats just rubs me the wrong way... I guess in my mind I'm afraid of something slamming into it under heavy braking. (and I really dig having the 60/40 split for my skiis and whatnot)

Well i will say this was not cheap undertaking. I got this done and probably one of the best places on the east coast.... and i am not just saying that they have the awards to prove it ( like being voted in the worlds top 12 installers by Mobile Audio Magaize and a number or world champion designs and setups and the such). These guy do great work. If you want something done and you are in in the tri-state region this is where you should go. This box cost about $700 to make. That includes the 3 days of labor that when into it. But I would say it is worth every penny. If you are interested in this company and out like to find out more about them check out http://www.s-waves.com .

Yeah i know what you mean aobu the amp mount. Then said if this gets on my nerves for some reason we can go a head and build a set up to mount in the spare tire well. We were trying to keep the 60/40 but the amp was just a hair to long. But I never really drop my seats for anything though. So it really should bother me to much.

The place is located just south of Philly off or I95. I wish i could go to the thing on the 5th but I am going to be out of town of the weekend, so that is kinda going to be a bummer.
